How hard is interracial dating im black she is white? were both 18 our family dosent care about or race but how will society treat us
were both in college
and why do racist try to put there views on people and try there best to do it even if you ignore them |
If you truly care about one another and learn to ignore the silly things that people say the two of you will be just fine. You will find out that love conquers all. I have been married to an African American and I am Caucasian for 22 years. I'm not going to say we've never had any problems or never had any racism problems but truthfully most of that came from within our own families. There are always going to be people who have racist points of views and are more than willing to share them with you or try to push them on you but it is entirely up to you how much influence you let that have on your life. You have to love yourself and be secure in who you are and what you are and then you will find out that all the little "chatter" from racists will fall into the space they should be in your life and you'll be fine. Love is love and sees absolutely no colors.

Is it hard for interracial couples in today era? What problems will we face?
black girl with white guy relationships, do they last? and do you think his parents will be okay with me being black?
I also wanted to know how society in general feels about it? seeing a black girl with a white guy and vise versa? |
| I don't think it's all that hard for the couple but it can be for mixed breed guyren that don't fit in with a particular group. |
Why is being in a interracial relationship so hard? Okay why do people view interracial relationships as being bad? okay for me I'am Puerto Rican and Italian and my Man is African American what's wrong with that? |
Nothing wrong with them at all...my lover is black and I couldn't care less what others think and neither could he. It's about us...not others.
Do what works for you...content of character is more important than color of skin. ☺♥☻ |
Do Black men have a hard time dating interracial in your area? Yes or no and why? |

Just do it, who cares.
Weirdly, Black girls and White guys have the lowest divorce rates in America, usually because they aren't with each other for stereotypes or other weird reasons like other IR couples it seems. |
If You Been In A Interracial Relationship How Hard Was It? im black she is white were both in college and im 22 and she is 23 she dosent care what ppl think
but be honest how hard are they |
It's not hard..for me anyways.
My parents are a Interracial couple. My Dad is Black, and my Mom is Japanese.
I'm dating an Egyptian guy right now, we've been together for like 7 months...my Dad is a real hypocrite though and is against this, and says I'm only allowed to date black guys >.>
Makes me mad..>:[ |
How hard is it to maintain an interracial relationship? Doesn't matter the race, but I was wanting your opinions and advice. |
My African American sister has been married
to her Caucasian husband for almost 12 years.
They have a 9yo daughter and they still seem
very much in love. They met in college and neither
one had dated another race before meeting each
other. They live in Cincinnati,a very conservative
racist community and they have had a few problems
over the years but nothing major enough to wreck
their marriage.
When they first started to date two A./A. guys
jumped my sister's then bf and gave him quite a
beating. He recovered quickly though the memory
of it stays with him like it happened yesterday. He's
not obsessed but he remembers every detail.
My niece was home schooled for 2 years b/c of
biased teachers in a predominately White school
district.
I think the looks, stares, comments have kept them
stronger as a couple-----it has had a bonding and
strengthening affect.
***I think it's very important that both people support
each other and stand united against anything/anyone
that comes against them. They should always present
a unified front around others even when they don't agree.
with each other.Work out your differences in private.!
All relationships have their problems but in interracial
relationships there are greater attacks from the outside.
Though love, communication and a sense of humor work
together to fortify any relationship.
Good luck.Don't be afraid.If you love her,keep her. It's
worth it! |
Why is it HARD to be in an interracial MARRIAGE? I know. People assume you're together for money, looks, or anything BUT personality/soul b/c it is the looks that catch you first!
Anyone else have confessions of the difficulties of avoiding gawks from people who don't understand your relationship with someone of another race? |
| You will never be happy as long as you keep worrying and wondering what others are thinking. By boyfriend and I look as opposite as might and day. Im 25, short and white. He is 37, tall and black/Filipino. We don't have a problem being out in public. If people have gawked at us, we don't notice it. We happy being together and in our own little world. We couldn't give a rats @ss what other people think. Who cares what ignorant, close minded people think. All that matters is that your both happy. It will be a lot easier when you can learn to not give a damn. |
Why do people in interracial couples always come online and complain about how hard they have it? And everyone stares at them and gives them rude comments? Interracial couples are not the norm, so what do you expect? |
I'm South Asian, my boyfriend is Hispanic and we never got rude comments. Every now and then, we might get a weird look, but I kind of like making people uncomfortable..
For me, my family is very, very traditional and being involved with a man of a different background is a big no-no. I'm not complaining, life's tough and I don't expect people to throw me a parade for being in an interracial relationship (I dislike calling it that, race is such a non-issue).
However, they have a right to complain. It's not the norm but that doesn't make it right to look down upon it. |

| Honestly it depends on how your family feels about it. I was in the same boat. I was pregnant by my ex bf who was black and my brothers were upset and telling me no one will accept the guy because the guy would be half black and half white. They do not respect or like the fact that I am attracted to black guys or hispanic guys. They will accept a hispanic guy more. You have to find out how your family feels and how well they will accept it. I still love my ex bf and would be with him again if things would work out. |
